The Marysville Ohio plant does a lot of design work for Honda/Acura now.. Design quality is a corporate philosophy though, not a geographical problem. Honda or whoever won't sign off on something unless it's right. I'm not convinced that other companies do that, after my week long road trip in a brand new (500 miler) Chevy Malibu, the biggest piece of crap new car I have ever driven. We broke the power steering going over a small pothole at 5MPH driving out of a parking lot. Glad it was from the motor pool at school. I have lost all of my remaning faith in domestic quality for cars under $50K. Sorry, slightly off topic.

Hey man, as things get more expensive, they break more often. It is a fact of life. Take my cell phone for example, 10 dollar nokia monster But I get better reception then everyone else, it has survied full water submersion and has been dropped and thrown many many times...and still works perfectly. Now take my friends 200 dollar razor or whatever the crap it costs. Broken on first day, Screen. Got a new one broken two weeks later no none cause. Only downside to my phone? It looks like have a brick in my pocket, but i do not have to worry about its reliabilty

i got the free phone and i have better reception than all my friends' phones that do everything but whipe ass.

i wanted to say. i'm really surprised that the germans' don't have the reliability. posche was started from vw? or vis versa yet they are on opposite sides of reliability. toyota made lexus and lexus is just as amazing, reliability wise, as toyota. i know that porsche is entirely and different make than vw, there isn't a vw 911 in berlin, like there is a toyota altezza in tokyo. but it still makes me wonder
