Default Where to get starter rebuilt?

I need to get the starter rebuilt for my Jet Ski. I would like to know if there are any shops in Hampton Roads, preferably in Hampton, Newport News.

If there is a really good one anywhere in the 757 I would put in the time to go there if they are more reputable than the rest though. What are you guys recommendations?

I've heard good things about B+L.
These guys are on the corner of Ft. Eustis Blvd and jefferson Ave.

Have you guys heard anything about Dixie Starters and Alternators off Mercury Blvd in Hampton?

I went in there and its two really old guys. I was wondering what was their reputation like.

I'm about to go there. They say they charge an average between $90-130. Thats a bit much for me being a student, but I hear its better to rebuild than buy the cheap ebay starters.

Got my starter Drive unit replaced at Brownings. Definitely great place! I wish thy had a website, because I wouldn't have questioned their capabilities if I had seen pictures of their shop. I definitely recommend them!

I have a 96 Sea Doo XP. I guess they said that the drive unit clutches were acting up, beacause it would randomly just spin the starter instead of engaging the engine. Hope it fixed my problem. I had to be towed back the other day

Try dixie electric on mercury. Across from popey's and food lion. Near king street. They do alternators for $50 with a year warranty. Im sure they do starters too.
