Supercharged Prelude?
Today I was in Hampton on Mercury when I noticed a black 5th gen prelude with exhaust.... and as I got closer to th back of it I saw on his lisense plate frame it said Jackson racing.....Then it clicked....SUPERCHARGER!....anyway...I got next to him and I heard somethin screamin...maybe it was my imagination, but it really sounded like one....I didnt know there were any supercharged ludes out here.....anyone know this guy to confirm if this is true or not?

thers a JR supercharger kit for 5gs only..
and no, it isnt impressive or fast.
mostly autox guys with it as far as i remember.. havent owned a prelude in awhile.
its ONLY for 5g's though.. I forget why.. hood clearance maybe

Actually the Jacksonsupercharger run for 3,600 and it a pretty good charger.
My brother is going to put one and with all the bolt ons it should do really good. It is alot more reliable than a turbo

They run mid-high 13's with the JRSC. I'm 50/50 on them.
AND! Speaking of h22's... i got my plans in order. Turns out my brother in law is really close friends with Mr. Gude and his Son... =] yesssir.

I have seen several track videos of Ludes running 13.2-13.4 with a JRSC at 8psi on street tires. I have also seen a video of the same Lude beating an SS on the highway by about 3 cars. They are good for low 13's and maybe even mid to high 12's if tuned right. I know of several people running mid 11's with them(in integra's or civic's though). The major problem with roots blowers are heat. For major power, turbo's are still the way.
