Sumospeed, we'd like to invite you to come out this Friday and meet us for a 'discussion' of everything that we have, mostly,been talking about online.
Where: Freedom Wash
When: This Friday, the 31st
Time: 10:30pm, everyone from your side should be off work/not busy, as well as our meeting should be over by then and everyone off work....
For those who are completely lost, clif notes: One of the SS members 'challenged' one of our cars to a race, then saying they were going to put up ultraman stickers on side of the car with X over it for each of our car they beat. The car they challenged is/was not ready, Jay stepped up to race the SS car. Once that was heard, the race was off/postoned by SS. One of our guys kinda blew it up in Jay's thread which started a thread on SS forum. SUMOSPEED THREAD. That, of course, started a thread on our forum. UltraSpeed Forum. One of their members, F-(Tom), made a post about a 'competition'. Not just SS vs UltraSpeed, but also vs EMF, TTE, and whatever other crews are active....Here is a scoop of his post..
drag? they have a few cars, but SS isnt bad, several cars could do well. (12's or so)
drift? SS hands down
autox? SS hands down
car show? them, but not with out a fight
Track? SS Hands down.
You forget that you have (or have access to) some crazy motherfuckers with some orange decent cars.
From what I know, U-speed has taken a very vip/show car slant of late. And I doubt that many of them would be willing to beat the pear out of their cars the was some of SS will.
As for emf, there are a few of them that would hand SS its collective asses, and a few of them with nothing at all. I Would Belive that it would ballence out for the most part.
It would be really really cool to do. esp if we had the resorses to do it sport compact car style.

It gives everybody the chance to shine, and they must have a wide array of cars to win.
let people buy tickets for the team and points spread they are going for, top people win prizes. donate the rest to charity. make a cool ass name for the contest, and a sweet trophy.
It would be a really awesome thing to do next summer. spred it out, hype it up. Make it a rivalry like everyone hates each other ect.
Bring back the great racing teams of old.
people will form new teams.
people will work on their cars, their abilitys. It will motivate people to become better and never settle, to push themselves outside of their (and their cars) confort zone.
I mean, what do we have now? TTE (kinda), u-speed, SS, emf, ???. More will come if there is a reason to form.
If we do this right, and start hypeing this soon, we could jumpstart the whole scene back to life with a take it to the track mentality.
just an idea. A great one, but an idea none the less
