save yourself a lot of trouble and buy a kit and have someone mig weld it in. if a bar isnt bent just right its gonna make it miserable as shit. order a kit for maybe $200, gut your interior and have somebody weld it up for you.

Gotta say get an Autopower. I had one in my old Porsche and the fitment was nice, the quality was excellent and it's only like $200-$300 bucks for a bolt-on or weld in. Definitely recommend it. I'd get one for my current ride, but they don't make one for it.

I got mine at Steen Racing (Yes I know they are a mustang shop, but they do roll cages for other cars) Cage was about 150 w/o labor, and they had to custom bend the hell out of it for me b/c I wanted the seats moved back a few inches, and I'm so tall they had to make sure the top wouldn't hit my head. It wasn't that expensive at all. They are actually still finishing it up for me this week, and then painting it.

Damn, this is nuts. No one makes anything for the S14. The closest thing I found was this:
http://www.napsusa.com/napsusa/222-495-A-.html
And that's kind of a half-ass bar. You would think that with the popularity of the S14 someone would make something. Guess custom is the only way to go.
