wow thats sad if the BMW lost by that much, even magazine racing the BMW would kick its ass, but props to the IS-F for that one.

check a few threads down for a BMW meet one for the VAdriven spring meet. then you can race my lowly 325 and see who wins

and we all know straight line racing is for the domestic group...

 

For sure bro, good looking out! Not sure about magazine racing though, fastest test drive edge goes to IS-F by car and driver ...........0-60 in 4.2 and 12.5 1/4 mile

Fastest stock run for the F is a 12.3 at 115 mph by a guy over at clublexus.....M3 can't touch that......

like I said, straight line racing is for the domestics, and there are m3's in the low 12s easy, watched a black one do a 12.1 at 117 at cecil when it was still warm, all the guy had done was wheels and the carbon intake cover (sounds amazing).

Whatever magazine does that Lightning Lap (R&T i think) the M3 destroyed the Lexus, and the M had transmission problems with a prototype DSG. The auto tranny on the lexus will be faster than an M3's standard manual. Probably why BMW went with the DSG instead of the SMG's that I love.

did you see the thread about the meet? just so you dont feel excluded, we usually get some vettes and s2Ks out so you wont be the only non Bimmer.
