Need Help Installing Synapse BOV with HKS Flange

I understand how to install everything, but how the hell do I get this ring installed when attaching the bov to the flange? I broke two sets of snap ring pliers so far and I'm getting frustrated 
. I would like to have this done today if possible because this is my only means of transportation. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
