Looking for some good fishing spots in the 757
So its been a while since I moved down here and I have made a few attempts at finding some good spots to fish but I have come up with no luck. I just want to do some catch and release. I have gone to Oak Grove park over off Battlefield, and there was a lake off 17, but I cant remember the name now. I've also tried First Landing and there are way too many people there.
My son has been bugging me about going and I'm trying to find a good place to go and relax and fish. I would ideally like to find a place that rents small trolling motor boats to go out onto the lake. For any NOVA people, I miss Burke Lake.
Thanks

I'm going to the the pier as soon as it reopens. I like to eat what I catch too. No point in releasing food unless its too small.

not sure if they still do, but up in Gloucester, Beaverdam Park, has a lake, and believe that they rent out, or you can use your own trolling motorboat. and I know there is a place by Little Creek, but not really quiet as Norfolk international is right there. can't remember anywhere else, as it has been quite awhile since I have been fishing.
