Default A little help........what are some REALLY nice neighborhoods to buy in.

I'm trying to buy a nice new or newer home in a nicer upscale neighborhood. I'm pretty familiar with my area (Smithfield, Carrollton) but I want to ensure I look at all possibilities. I prefer my side of the water but if there is something that catches my eye, I'll check it out. I would consider the peninsula also. Throw out some nice neighborhoods you guys know of. I really don't like colonial styles so I'm looking for modern or transitional homes from 3000-5000sq ft. I'm also looking in the 400-800K range. There is a whole hell of a lot of homes on the market right now and that makes it that much harder to decide. It seems every time I look, I find new developments I've never heard of. My home goes on the market in a couple months so I need to find something rather soon. Thanks for any inputs.

Rich

Would you mind moving to VA Beach or Chesapeake or do you want to stay out there in the middle of nowhere?

New development headed out toward Sandbridge, right past Tiki bar, not sure of the name. Fits your requirements.

I actually don't prefer Vagina Beach because of the traffic, unless I find something perfect. I like Chesapeake area....even though taxes sucketh.

take little neck past kings grant, i'm sure you'll find a home out there, but lots will probably be 7 figures

i'm sure you'd blend in well with the amount of exotics that roll out of there.

Are you looking for something for kids? southern chesapeake is the way to go with that. Ethridge Manor BLVD has about 9 neighborhoods off of it all are nice. Anything on the east side of Mt Pleasant road is good becuase it has a lot of entangled hoods. The school systems around Ethridge are awsome also/ Hope this was somewhere in the right area for you

I'm mean, I'm surrounded by new developments in your range. The only problem is that the Home Owner Associations are ran by old blue haired women with white tennis shoes and absolutely nothing else to do, so they're anal about EVERYTHING. (We get a letter probably once every other month about stupid shit.) Basically, you guys wouldn't get along too well.

My two minute search has unearthed this: http://www.livingchoices.com/home/ho...&hid=536532758 (Woodard's Mill is baller and you have enough land to build your 'man space'.

And if you want to live on the Greenbrier Golf Course: http://www.livingchoices.com/home/ho...&hid=536381442 (Change the wall paper though.)
