Lexus TC sucks!

Lexus needs a better traction control system for their cars. I was coming home from AMC 24 last night in the GS300 and was turning from Big Bethel onto 134 and tried to see when the rear wheels would slip... they did immediately. I ended up doing a 360 and then a 180. Not cool. Had the "snow" power setting on and the traction control too, and it did nothing. I was lucky just to keep it on the road the whole time! To top it off the road wasnt really wet anymore. Anyone know if this is normal and if there is anything to fix it (other than not pushing it)?

if you were "trying" to get them to slip , then odds are you whipped it around until it did slip ... its always hard to see if something like that works because you always end up pushing it past the limit in which it was set to perform ...

Yeah but the only other car I have driven with TC on is a Mercedes S320 and that thing drifted better than the lexus and it weighs about 700lbs more.

The problem is I was going for a throttle controlled slide just to see if it would get a little loose, not whipping it around. It seems like the Lexus is a lot less stable than any other heavy RWD cars I have driven.

traction control cannot compensate for driver error. it also cannot compensate for things like tire compound, air pressure, tread depth, etc.

Well I tried it again in the rain with TC off and Power setting on "power". This time it didnt go around, it was controllable.... I dont get it. The Mercedes wont even slide at all with TC on and the Lexus is worse with it on...
