a friend of mine at work wants an s2000 reallllllyyyyy bad, he can afford it easily, and wants one....but he's not the kinda guy to go get what he wants....

he is a die hard honda fan, but his civic is dying.....and the s2k is the only honda i like......soooo i have been supporting him to go and get one....

if i could get him to drive it, i know he would go out looking for one.....

i know its a long shot but i thought i'd try....

anyone with an S2K be willing to rent me your car (small fee nothing drastic) and use my car for the day so you have transportation.....

i have a 2005 Black Mustang GT so its a pretty fair trade (not a shitty car for a nice one) but a somewhat equal trade for just 1 day, 24 hours

go to a dealership?? i got to drive one last year when i was only 19. rolled up there in my 94 civic.....no problem at all. (although i did talk to the guy that sold my brother a car a few years ago. he also rode with me because their rule is you have to ride with the person when driving an S2K).

All you have to do is say Im looking and interested in buying if I like the car, if you bother me too much I will leave your lot.

I have never had a problem after that. Besides you can tear it up a little and not feel bad cause its going right back to a lot and not someones pride and joy.

ya i don't want to tear it up at all.....i just want him to see it as if it was his,.....sitting in his driveway, driving around the neighborhood, letting his girlfriend see it, stuff like that.....

that does make a HUGE difference. There's a difference between actually being "natural" in the car.that doesn't mean beating it up. Just taking it to and from work, seeing how it handles in traffic, cruising for longer than 5 minutes and just being able to drive it with out feeling there's someone over your shoulder watching every move you make and wincing when you take it passed 3K. you just learn alot more having the car in more "natural circumstances"

too bad he's not looking at a WRX or i'd gladly loan mine to the cause.(my car is a whore anyway).
