hey everyone I was wondering if any one on here knew of a local ipod repair place. If so I need to find out how much it would cost to install a new battery.

The last time I was in the apple store I heard them say it was like 39 bucks to replace the battery.

 

The apple store sucks my balls. I tried to go in there and talk about laptops with someone, and they had to get the mother fucking national tech guy on the phone to answer some of my questions.

 

Yeah not feeling the apple store was hoping we had an apple guy on here like we do xbox 360s

I think the place I linked sells batteries with tool kits so you can change it yourself. Its also pretty cheap

Do a google search, you'll find ways to do it. I've replaced my IPOD screen (cracked and leaked) and also done a couple of cell phones myself. Make sure you have an anti static pad, required tools to do the swap and don't wear any jewelry so that you don't cause any electostatic discharge to the equipment that you are trying to repair.
