Re: Honda Prelude H22 swap helpp
sorry bout all the misunderstanding...i've been trying to get the bolt that holds the crank pulley and harmonic balancer off...
I tried again today and I did EVERYTHING possible to get this thing off besides use a industrial type impact wrench, but I snapped two more sockets, bent a breaker bar, extension, and a metal pole...WOWWW
I finally went to inspect the bolt and noticed that the bolt was flat against the washer but the washer was not flat against the crank pulley and was angled at some degree...me being the scholar that i am lmfao came to the conclusion that the bolt was cross-threaded when i used the impact in the first place to put the bolt in....therefore I'm screwed cuz now I have NO idea on how to get that thing out. Hurt.
Also, if the crankshaft threads happen to be messed up, can they be tapped so I wouldn't have to replace the crankshaft!?
