HELP SAVE Liberty IV Venue!!
 

if you have anything to do with the punk rock/hardcore/metal scene around here, than you know about LibertyIV!

LibertyIV is a do it yourself venue that opened up a few months ago by bigjohn and his wife. It took a lot of time, a lot of hardwork, and a lot of friend's help to make this happen. bigjohn is a person in this scene just like us. he was in bands like misura, cries of the dying, bloody sunday, and more. to have a venue owner who actually knows something about shows and this scene rather than random bar owners who dont know shit is a blessing. we are so fortunate to have a place like this and someone like him behind it.





unfortunately due to the lack of promotion for shows, promoters booking shows at other venues, an insane amount of people complaining and bitching about everything, and general lack of shows LibertyIV has no choice but to shut its doors.





but, theres a way we can help. their rent is only $850 bucks. right now they are taking donations, so that is the first step.

anything will help. also you can go to a couple of shows that are booked this month. huuuge turnouts mean theres proof that the scene is still alive around here, and that we can prove ourselves that we are worthy enough to be so lucky to have a place like LibertyIV.



another way you can help......book shows and promote the fuck out of your shows!!!!!!!!!!!!! just email him at the email posted above. thats the only way we can keep this going.

if you dont understand how a place like this is needed around here, you either know almost next to nothing about the underground music scene around here, or you suck.
