Default Good shop/person to diagnose issue with sr20 with sc61 turbo

Just trying to find a decent person/shop in the Va. Beach/ Hampton roads area to have look at my s13. It boosts inconsistently sometimes starting to bog anywhere between 4k rpms to 7k. It picks a place and voila stops revving. Anyone with experience or a shop recomendation would be helpful as this is my 4th 240 but first boosted one. Any help would be appreciated.

What all have you done to troubleshoot?

Did you add or change something?

So far have changed plugs and put a new starter on i as it was toast when I bought it. Like I said I am very new to the turbo game always had Ka24's in my 240's.

Is it drivable?

Drive it to the sumospeed charity show on the 11th and i'll look at it. Im no 240 expert but this sounds like its a simple fix.

See that is what I wanted to hear. Let me get my paycheck on FridaY and greaser will be my first call on Monday if I cannot get this problem resolved over the week or weekend. Thanks again everyone.

before you start paying shop prices, get some fresh proper heat range spark plugs and have them gapped. This sounds like a typical blowing out spark issue.

Depending what your def of bogging is, it could also be a boost leak.

do a quick search on any 240 forum to find the proper spark plug specs.
