Yeah well living with knowing you killed someone is bad enough and I'm sure there lesson is learned by just that (hopefully), but I would definately press charges also. Shitty to lose someone over another dumbass failing to yield.

My girlfriend and I drove past it maybe 30 seconds after it happened. We saw the people running towards the downed biker. He was laying face down and unmoving. We were on our way home when the police blocked that part of the road and heard them over talking saying that the driver ran a red and hit the biker.

It's a sight I doubt I'll forget for a long time.

RIP.

I think it was a Navy kid thats a regular in my bar. From hearing people talk in the bar tonight thats the impression I got.

Probally 22ish, lived in the neighborhood across the street, comes in with a few of his friends all the time.

Hes actually part of a bike club (they wore their vests in the other night), and actually if it was this guy (sorry I forgot his name) he was involved in saving his buddy who was riding a wheelie on the HRBT and flipped up and over the side a month or two ago.

my wife happened to catch this shortly after it happened ... i called her just as she passed it and i could tell she was upset ... she gets emo over seeing dead people ... unfortunately for her, this is the 2nd crash she has seen in recent years ... she saw the girl fall off bike on 168 a few years ago and dismember ... sad

i saw it a few mins after it happened. my girl lives right across the street and i was going over there and they had the guy covered with a white blanket. def a sad moment and prayers go out to the family of the fallen rider.

rode passed yesterday and saw the guy under the blanket....what the hell is wrong with people. because they couldnt wait 2 min at a stoplight
