Details on the Merkur pics
 

This is my father's 88 Merkur. He bought it new & has been working on it ever since.
The body kit is a Cosworth replica. Car has Koni adj. shocks, lowering springs, 16" Ford rims inported from England, dual stainless exhaust, shaved trunk & more.
Also has El Kameleon stereo with Focal speakers + Blaupunkt amp & sub.
He had the car at the May Carlisle Ford show this year & placed 2nd or 3rd. He will be back with a new motor next year with around 250hp from a 4cyl.
I drove the car after he put on the suspension & exhaust & it was damn quick.

Dude, your dad is a BAD BAD man, does he happen to post on turboford?

I met a guy named larry that lives out on norview, almost the same car, except red, real nice and smart guy.. he was the first turboford guy I met when I bought my car..

Would he feel weird if you had a guy come over to take a look at the car? I would wear some baggy pants so you couldnt see anythign if it popped up.. lol

Im more into modding hte engine right now but I cant get enough of the whale tail and rs kits.. I will try to invest in the head lights though.. those are useful as is the kit over 135mph.. hehe Like a 4 cylinder could ever do that??!?!?!?! lol

Thats a story I hear from many people that see my car.. .. my car has lived in my neighborhood all its life, Im the 3rd owner... Ford could have done a MUCH better marketing campainge on the SVO TurboCoupe and Merkur and seen sales sky rocket, but instead the Lima turbo was a flop and production stopped on them...

nope, I dont care for the personally, its one of 3 kinds you have, I would go for the smoked lights or stock but all red, no yellow

That actually look nice on that car, its clean, but some I have seen with those lights are all ricey and look like trash.. probably why I dont care for them...

Personally I don't like the tails, but it's not my car.
