Detailing Supply Shops?
Are there any local shops I can pick up detailing supplies that don't include walmart/autozone/aap? I already have a porter cable polisher but am missing some of the specific detailing tools/materials like a backing plate, polishing pads, sealants, waxes, etc.
I'd much rather purchase stuff in person but I'll order from autogeek if I have to.

I usually order my stuff from detailking.com. That's what we use when I worked at CMA in Chantilly.
Locally the best I have found when I don't have time to order is Pepboys. Its nothing great but they seem to have more then the ones you listed.

Re: Detailing Supply Shops?
Automotive Paint distributors have products for detailing, and beautifying.
Newtown and va beach blvd. I am never able to remember the name of the place; building before the used car lot on newtown rd, Rally's is across the street. I pick up most my products at that location.
I am not knowledgeable on the differences between detailing products, so I feel the need to touch to get the right product; instead of saving a few bucks and ordering online.
Tape, inc on va beach blvd, also stock products.
Pep boys as Brent pointed out, specifically carry a variety of 3m products. Cant go wrong with 3m, except for the price.

Re: Detailing Supply Shops?
This is actually my first time trying to detail my car.
I'm pretty overwhelmed with product choices hence me wanting to see things in person.
