Clutch Installation....

I have a Act stage 3 clutch w/ a 2600lb pressure plate... where is the best place to get this installed w/ a warranty on the installation. I have a 99 GSX.

direct performance..i think they have warranty..

Hope you got alot of money, most mechanics wont even touch an AWD DSM tranny. And ya want a warranty? Mmmm good luck with that one. Make sure you get your flywheel resurfaced to the correct step height. I just finished my install on my own 2600, why not do it yourself? Its a day job and isnt that hard.

oh god im having flashbacks of doing my own, it was awfull, but thats what i get for doing it myself. Not sure of any places that will warranty their work on clutches and its gonna cost a couple hundered proabaly unless you get hooked up.

Money isn't an issue!! :) I also have a Jun lightweight flywheel I'm gonna run w/ it. I heard Direct Performance will warranty the installation I just want to know if they are reputable??

Just make sure the flywheel is stepped correctly, very important, in fact, I had the machine shop mesure it right in front of me to make sure.

Thanks for the help...I'll make sure I do that.

lemme guess, it was those hidden two bolts in the back? we had time getting those off on my friends gsx. oi!

nah the problem was the fact that the car was only 2 feet off the ground and nothing wanted to line up going back in, did save my self like $300 though so i can live with the pain and anguish
