Auto Tech Wanted
 
We are a busy auto repair shop seeking an EXPERIENCED technician.

Must have minimum 3 years solid repair/maintenance experience in a working shop (This does not include schooling or lab time, although some form of technical education is a plus)
Must have own tools
Must have strong work ethic and commitment to quality work and customer loyalty.
Must have experience with multiple makes and models. We are a full-service repair and maintenance shop.

STATE INSPECTION LICENSE A BIG PLUS!

We offer:
Salary or Hourly Pay (we are NOT a flat-rate shop)
Five-Day Work Week (no Sundays)
Clean and Well-Maintained Facility & Equipment
Positive Work Environment
Large Variety of Work

Carmasters is a torture chamber. When I worked at both places I felt like I was getting off work when I left there to come here.

I went to that coupled with a performance bonus based off of a sales:comeback ratio model about five years ago, and have found that once you find a good tech that will get out of the flat rate hack mentality, you have quality going out the door in a good profitable volume.

I agree.
We've eliminated all of the cutthroat and cut-rate mess inherent with flat-rate shops by keeping it salary and paying our guys well. We maintain a team-oriented atmosphere and it has worked out very well for us thus far.

man i wish i was done with my enlistment in the airforce i would applied in a heart beat. i got 7 years exp , 2 year automotive collision/refinishing degree , frame repair exp , exp refinishing etc. , and my own tools. i basically have my own small body shop inside my garage
