ASVAB is a joke, I took it at 8 in the morning after drinking til midnight and managed a 94 (whatever percentile that is). The other guy who was taking it for the CG got a 29 and was so happy cause it was the highest he'd ever gotten.

I took it and scored in the 99th percentile in every category but mechanical when I was senior in high school...then I went to automotive school for 2 years.
My counsler told me I could have any job I want in the military I said no thanks...haven't regretted my choice either

Damn. I bet half of you got less than what you posted.. and you were just too embarrassed to post it. lol.
Everyone I ran across in the Navy had mediocre scores. Perhaps I was the dumbass for joining. I got a 77 on my ASVAB.

You have to be mentally retarded to not score a 70+ on that exam. It's common sense questions...ok maybe you could be smart, but have no common sense. There's alot of that in the NAVY

Recruiter told me the national average is in the mid 30s, so apparently a good portion of the U.S. is mentally retarded. He also told me the average locally is lower then that.

Recruiter will tell you that the fucking roads are paved in gold to get you to sign the damn paper. One thing you will learn when you get in. Recruiters play the game just like everyone else.
