Our first event of the 2011 season starts in less than a week and the weather is starting to look really good - currently the temperature forecast for VIR is in the 60's and 70's! Because of the nice forecast we have extended registration until this Saturday afternoon. Entries are still available in all run groups, so please come join us for two days of fun on one of America's greatest road courses. We are also pleased to announce that starting at this first event we will be performing Annual Tech Inspections for those interested. This inspection is only open to Intermediate or higher level drivers. At this time there is no cost for an Annual Tech, and it means you won't have to bring your car through tech at later events. TrackDaze and World Challenge Driver Mike Skeen are pleased to announce the creation of Enhanced Driver Training at select TrackDaze events. In an effort to continually improve its products and services to the high-performance driver community, this enhanced program will offer professional coaching, data acquisition, and analysis to Instructors and Advanced Level drivers as an upgrade to the standard event registration. The program is set up to bring the value of professional coaching to its members at an enthusiast-friendly price. By leveraging TrackDaze's existing schedule and resources, along with Mike Skeen's knowledge and experience, the program provides several opportunities per event for participants to have access to Mike Skeen's services and state-of-the-art data acquisition equipment, while sharing the costs with other members. This approach provides access to these services for a much broader range of drivers, instructors, and racers.

Building on TrackDaze's strong foundation of driver education, this program provides an opportunity for drivers to sample and see the value of data acquisition and personal coaching without investing in hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars in equipment prior to witnessing concrete results. This allows drivers who may have "plateaued" in their development, those looking to move into the world of wheel-to-wheel competition, and currently licensed club racers access to the tools to reach their goals at a budget friendly cost.

Are all the events up until the May VIR event sold out?I'm assuming that's the case,as none of the events up until then are showing up on the calender?

Not sold out - there are simply no TD events until May VIR... March VIR was cancelled. Poor weather conditions and/or low turnout for the last 5 years were the reasons.
