how to set the timing?
OK this is fairly simple,i need to set my timing but can not remove my timing belt cover till i can get my hands on air tools. So what is the simplest way to set the timing using the tdc method?the cam is easy to get tdc but no the bottom end.For example, when you raise number 1 piston up,and its as high as possible theres still around 3 teeth to work with.So should i let the bottom end be as tdc as possible when the piston is raising,in the middle,or before it starts to go down?Right now the car sounds loud as hell and sounds like it is moving, but goes no where,so im thinking its running rich.Which way would i turn the cam to make it run more lean???just so i can drive it to a shop.

Re: how to set the timing?
well i used a clean dip stick, got it as high as possible, but there was still like 3 teeth to mess around with.Like it would be at the same height for a good 1/8 turn of the socket. But i got it to run good now,im going to take it to a shop so they can break my crank pully bolt loose.
So delete please
