Re: HELP: need to set timing on my engine
The up arrows facing up and you will see a little mark on the cams I think every 90 degrees. There will be one on the right side of the exhaust that needs to line up with the one on the right side of the intake, which should also line up tieht the top of the head.

SET BOTH CAMS UP DEAD CENTER ONE MY BE A LIL MORE OFF, BUT U CAN JUST TAKE THE NUMBER 1 SPARK PLUG OUT AND PUT A LONG SCREW DRIVER IN IT,AND THEN TURN THE CRANK UNTILL THE SCREW DRIVER COMES ALLTHE WAY UP THEN STOP AND TRY IT THEN YOU SHOULD BE DONE IF YOU FOLLOW THESE STEPS GOOD LUCK

Re: HELP: need to set timing on my engine
I know on B18a1 motors there are small holes in the top of the cams and in the top of the camshaft caps. When they line up, you can put small punches or dowels in the holes to line up the marks and also hold the cams while you put the belt on. The skunk2 cams might not have the holes in them though.
Good luck if you didn't already do it.

make sure your motor is tdc line up the arrows to the notch tighten belt and make sure to use a timing light to verify it is correct. most honda ecu's control the timing so either its right or its not.
