Is this different than an H22 swap? What's an H2b?

H2B is a hybrid swap in which H22/H23/F20b longblock can be mounted to a Bseries Transmission...

So isn't it the same wiring as any other H22 swap?

It is. I think OP is just asking the general "what do I need to extend/what goes where?" questions.

Yeah pretty much, the extending is for aesthetic purposes only.

Best advice I'll give ya is ditch that P13 for a chipped P28/P72 with a H22 basemap.

P13s fuckin blow, overpriced pieces of shit mate.

P72 and P13 are almost identical ECUs and share most of the same hardware and codeset. P28s are a different hardware family. P13s are just different enough to not get the same attention as the other ECUs.

But yes, using a more common and better supported ECU is usually a good idea.

agreed but tryna have the setup pass inspection..so the EGR will need to be hooked up and resistor box im assuming..and heard that alot of ppl were having issues were their setups were running very rich... plus the issue's with the dizzy running a obd2 H in the civic i thought the plugs were the same...

Most P13s can't be chipped, and those that can don't usually work too great with the normal software commonly used.

I personally have never encountered a chipped P13 in real life, so I think they're a myth myself.

That all said, I owned 3 different obd1 P13s, 2 being JDM, not one of them revved higher than 7500 rpms.

VTEC isn't much fun for only 1500 rpms.

OP if you are using an obd2 H22 harness, then it should be all plug and play my man, you can hook everything up no prob.

If you're worried about running rich, the P28 might help that, I know it leans out up top compared to the P13, but if you're running prelude 310cc injectors, you might be more rich down low, since the P28 expects 240s.

Theres plenty of little tricks you can do to pass emissions

Edit: I read "inspection" as "emissions", but seems like that what you're worried about anyways
