I'm still not sure how exactly Richmond is central Va, but maybe that is just me.

Look at the map. It is pretty close to being halfway in VA from the north and south on I 95.

yea, but it's in no way shape or form near the halfway point between eastern and western Va. I was under the impression central meant all four directions.

Takes about 2 gours to get from Richmond to Va beach. Also around 2 Hours to get the the western parts too.
