Default Need Help w/ dpfi to mpfi

I have all the injectors wired up and working. flipped the wires on the tps. the car starts but only revs to 3200 rpms. I'm getting a code 4 and 9 on the ecu and I cant figure how to wire up the crank angle sensor( the sensor on the dist.) Not sure what wires have to be ran or anything there.

what motor are you running. that will determine what you need to do.you need to cut wires C1 and C2 off the ecu and the connnect those wires to pins B10 and B12(c1 to b10 and c2 to b12).run 2 wires from the engine bay to the ecu. those 2 wires on pins c1 and c2 on the ecu and lable which one goes to which.then depending on engine, wou must wire those into either the distributer or the cam angle sensor(zc engine).c1 wir will go to the blue/yellow wire on the distributer or cam angle and c2 will go to blue/green wire.and i will get back to you on the 2 codes you have.i dont remember them but i will pm you with the codes when i get to my shop in the morning if you would like and if i can be off any more help, just ask

Right now I'm running a d15b7, until I finish rebuilding the sohc zc(almost the same as a d16a6) I have c1/c2 swapped to b10/b12. The problem is with the new wires on c1/c2. I know where they are supposed to go, like you said, but I dont have those color wires on my dist. I have a square plug instead on the round plug, and the codes are 4 crank angle. 9 cylender position.

just get a crx si distributer.it has the wires you are missing in it.that will fix your problem.just cut the plug off the dx distributer and solder it on to the si distributer and just add the c1 and c2 wires to the other 2 remainding wires.and you will have no more codes!

I dont think that the crank angle wires would make you idle that high though. You got to have some sort of vacuum leak somewhere.

You need to swap the Distributor to an 88-91 si, if you have not already.
