What was the going rate of KAs and skyline motors in 07? Then factor in the fabrication time, even if it was on his time its still a lot, and you probably could have a proven TT modern motor that isn't hacked.

More importantly, did it last? Now that it's been 3 years.. I wonder why there were no more updates on it.... It's a cool concept, and it's cool that he got it to run at all.. but I was really hoping for an update on it when I read the thread title.

Yeah, exactly. I mean, I definitely have admiration for the dude for attempting it in the first place. I know it showed bolts holding it together, but obviously (or hopefully, lol) he had it welded, measured, decked, etc. Either way, pretty sick accomplishment.
