Hey. I haven't been to too many instrument shops, but I'm looking for a good one for audio equipment. Mic equipment specifically that isn't ungodly expensive, but of good quality. I'm also looking for a place to meet musicians, maybe a site, (or musicians themselves here?) that might be looking to start something up. I've been in two bands and both kinda collapsed. The drummers in both were assholes.

I'm actually being serious. Guitar Warehouse doesn't have the best selection of mics, and a place down Warwick has the highest prices I've seen. Does anyone have a place they recommend? (That's actually serious....)
I prefer Alpha Music in VB over Guitar Center. Smaller place, great selection, personal service, etc.
