Need to sell everything that isn't important off the mustang to buy these.

I've never actually seen one up close. But it can't be much bigger than a ls1. I looke for a couple hours yesterday to find one, but the only thing people are putting them at the moment are fox bodies or kit cars.

I have a 2012 5.0 and a Miata. I don't think it would fit, at least not very easily. The LSx series of motors are actually very compact. The Coyote is a DOHC motor where as the the LSx motors are pushrod. That makes a huge difference.

It would be amazing to see one. I'm sure someone will do it eventually.

I honestly think the Coyote would be too big. The LS1 is simply THE WAY to go when going v8 in a Miata.
There is just no way around it....
and I HATE Chevrolet.

Looking at it more, the coyote just barely fits in a fox body. Which I have one of each and the fox body bay is huge compared to the miata.
This is the fox body bay.

why go through all the trouble of a v6 when the ls1 swap is tried and true.
AND...has a huge following/support.
The LS1 would probably be a cheaper swap AND net you more power.
