03/20/10 Sumospeed Presents: Yahtzee cruise 2010

We have been wanting to do an event that shys away from our normal show routine and this is what has been put together. For those that have done Team Top End's poker runs or any other poker runs in the past this is sort of the same premise but with a new game, Yahtzee. Our cruise will consist of 5 stops that will include the cities of Virginia beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake.

Rules:

• Each participant will show up at the first stop on the cruise and recieve a cruise packet including a map of the route, address to each stop on the cruise, a ticket voucher for Springfest 2010, and a cruise sticker to be placed on their vehicle's windshield during the event. Each player will also be issued a number and a color.
• From this point you will find the color table that corresponds to your color and proceed to that table to play your first 3 turns.
• At each of the first four stops you will need to find your table (so your score can be accuratly kept) and will have 3 turns.There will only be one turn at the last stop.
• The object is to fill every slot on your score card.
• The player with the highest point total at the end of the cruise will win a $100.00 prize.(in the event of a tie, the winner of the prize will be determined by a sudden death best of 3 rock paper scissors match)

• You will recieve a confirmation email containing your player number, table color, and prize pack ticket number (Please remember these numbers for the event although they will be included in your cruise packet when you arrive to the event)

At the first stop we will be everyone signed in and the first turns played. Then everyone can grab a bite to eat and hang out for a bit.

2.

Stock or Modified Bodyworks
3440 Chandler Creek Rd # 102
Virginia Beach, VA 23453-2976

At this stop everyone will play their second set of turns and check out one of the best body shops in the area

3.

American Indoor Karting
2736 North Mall Drive
Virginia Beach, VA 23452-7221

At the third stop in the cruise, the participants will once again play their turns and hopefully get in a race or two at AIK's new Lynnhaven facility.

4.
SAGE Autosports
850 W. 40th St.
Norfolk VA 23508

This stop will be the location at which we will announce the winners of the pre registration prize packs. Players will play their rounds and can hang out for a bit in the area's hottest new parts shop.

5.

At the final stop on the cruise each player will play his/her last turn and the winner of the game will be announced and awarded their prize. Also feel free to take a load off, have a few beers, shoot some pool, and throw some darts on Longshot's great tables and boards.


After the event we would like all of you stick around at Longshots for the Team Sumospeed 5th anniversary party. This is our 5th year and we would like to celebrate with all of you that have come out and helped supposrt us and our events since we have started putting them on!

This is essentially a booster event for Springfest. all money (aside from the $100.00 to the winner) will go toward the hefty fees that come with holding an event at the convention center haha.
