My driveway is TERRIBLE. Huge "lip" where it meets the street and goes on to a decent incline.

You know the wooden triangles used as door stops? You can make one that is the length of the front of your car and it works great.

My front lip is fucking slammed, I got my car all cracked up in DC 2 weeks ago due to the fact the incline on the road I was going onto was so steep that I had no choice, but normally I always carry some small 2x10 boards just incase I need to get over a certain speed bump or what not.

I'd run to Lowes and get a 2x6 or 2x12 piece of treated wood and slap it in there... That should last a while...

I have probably one of the steepest driveways in my neighborhood and I always just came in at an extreme angle... I could 3 wheel a solid axle truck on that bitch...

Get a Piece/Pieces of 3/8" or 7/16" Steel plate the width of the drive way from a local metal supply. Have someone you know/ or the supplier cut it down to the distance between the top of the curb and the street, making a temporary bridge that spans the gutter, there will be no water restriction, so the city wont care, and it will not be permenant so the landlords shouldnt care.
