LSx engines. How do they sound?

Its actually a horrible sounding motors (no offense). There are PLENTY of V8s out there that sound much better.

Like anything else, LSx sound only as good as the exhaust they're mated with. Unfortunately most of the American aftermarket makes exhausts that sound like shit, because that's what people want. There are a lot of nice sounding Holdens and Vauxhalls running around Australia, but somehow they're the same engines. I'm not really a big fan of exhausts that make V8s sound like they're running on 7 cylinders, I like smooth instead of lumpy and rough. That's got a lot to do with crank type and firing order though.

It's the same with Hondas and the same with everything else. How many good Honda exhausts are there that sound nice versus the huge amount that sound like shit?
