When I heard that diesel spool up, I knew there was going to be carnage. There always needs to be a disclaimer when you pull someone out. "You hook it to your truck, and I'm not responsible for any damage that occurs". I pulled the front bumper off a guys jeep he sunk to the chassis down at Oregon Inlet. "Sure that's where you want to hook the rope?" "Yes." "OK...

I watched a 75 chevy pick up lose its ENTIRE front clip being pulled out of mud up to its doors. Was really funny. The owner of the truck tried to make the other guy pay for it.

Or not hooked it by the axle, or gotten a tractor, or gotten some wood and a hi-lift.

Or at least pull it out in reverse so he could see what was going on, and not yank so hard.

Granted sometimes yanking is the only way, but with a big diesel like that, he could have eased him out I think.

You can tell he did not hook to the axle. Where his rope goes is completely buried as well as when he pulled that jeep out the axle shouldve came out the front, not gone under the jeep.

+1 for wood and a hi-lift. A savior for any jeep owner.
