Dudes, tires looking like the ones shown are hard to get like that on the streets, for one, most times we don't spend that long on the sides to generate that kind of heat to bubble and peel them like that.
As for the front chicken strip, its rarely a function of speed, but more a function of setup and bike geometry. I've seen wera guys novice and pros who's front don't scrub to the edge, and some do. If also seen bikes where the front has no chicken strip and the rear has 1/2 inch. In that case my boy jacked up the rear of his SV 2". Before doing so, it was the opposite, no strip on the rear and 1/4" up front.
Me, I rarely scrub the front all the way to the edge, but I have done it. What did I do differently? Geometry changes new suspension raised the back even higher than it was before with a 190/55 rear.
However, lowering the front, did not yield the same result and made for one twitchy bike. Yet tire wear and chicken strips barely looked any different.

Re: Cycle whore thread
Street Riding vs. Track riding... KEEP IT ON THE TRACK
The streets are NOT constructed well enough for *Track Like* riding..
Just because you can ride the tire to the edge.. does NOT make you a *Badass* OR a good rider what so ever
