Is this Legal? (new car, wont pass inspection)
In order to pass inspection the car needs at least 1 tire replaced and a new windshield. Its approximately 45 minuets from its future home but all 3 of my transport options have fallen through (friends with trucks/suvs and trailers)
Wile the majority of the trip is on a country road (Blacksburg Rd.) a fun road at that, 2 other sections are highly populated with local and state police.
a 10 - 20 min drive I would risk, but how legal is it for me to do so? I'm taking it to get tires in that same trip
The car will be sitting for a wile to get tuned up so I don't want to pay for registration and insurance on it during this month and a half of work time.
usually gets noticed.
Does any one have a suggestion?
or would any one with a truck and trailer mind picking the car up for me?
Blacksburg to Roanoke I'll pay for your gas and time

not legal at all... you can get a one trip pass from the DMV ($10 i think) instead of registering it, but that won't exempt you from the inspection issues.
but as long as it has 4 tires and a yellow sticker i doubt you will get second glance.

take that bitch back straight down Rt 11/460. blow the horn when you go by Division headquarters too.
seriously, you will either get caught or not, most likely not.

Whatever you do, DON'T RUN ILLEGAL TAGS!!!! That is a federal offense and will guarantee a night in jail. Just be smart and rent a uhaul with a trailor. It will cost less than the fines you would receive if you risk it.

Thats What I'm doing, I'm picking up a truck for it some time around noon
because I found a truck I can use but it apparently doesn't weigh enough to pull another vehicle
