If you take the class and bring it to court that does look better. Also get your driving record from the dmv to show to the courts and that does help some too. It shows that you didn't really mean to do anything and you are concerned with your infraction.

I have told them a few times (when I was younger) that my parents made me sell the car that I had because I got in trouble with it. Or you can say that you want to get rid of it now because you have come to realise that this is seriouse and driving in a privalig and it shouldn't be thought of as a toy.

By the way where did you get the ticket so i know not to speed there. lol.

Do not listen to any fucking babble this guy just spouted, its incoherent at best.

Here's what you do. Go to court. Let the officer tell the judge what happened. Admit your guilt, apologize, all that good stuff. Ask the judge, since this is your first ticket, if you could go to driver's improvement school to brush up on your traffic laws. He will agree, as long as your are not an ass, and will dismiss the ticket once the school sends proof of your completion to the court. You have no ticket, court still gets its court cost, insurance doesn't go up, everyone is happy.

LOL I'd question if you were even old enough to drive if I hadn't looked in your profile. Thats the most rediculous thing I've ever read.

I prepayed my speeding ticket. Worst decision ever. Only 3 and a half more years to go til insurnace drops though.

Pleading no contest for a routine traffic violation is pretty silly.

Here's a good explanation Chris

(in a criminal case) a defendant's pleading that does not admit guilt but subjects him or her to punishment as though a guilty plea had been entered, the determination of guilt remaining open in other proceedings.
