Default massive coolant leak. honda guys help.

ok i put the new skunk2 pro series intake manifold and matching 68mm throttle body in the gsr along with a thermal heatshield gasket. im having a massive coolant leak from this thing under my car. edit: i just found out that the thing is the evap canister breather and its not leaking from there but probably just running down the side of it. any ideas guys? weird thing is its not leaking all the time.

this about after 2 minutes or running the car in the garage =[

Check where the coolant goes through the intake manifold. I had a leak there when I used a hondata gasket. If you had to transfer the fast idle valve check to make sure thats not leaking.

does your new TB have coolant passages? If not you may have just left the lines for the previous TB just sitting there, and thatll cause a huge leak.

when u notice the leak, is the car hott or is it cold, maybe if its hot then maybe a seal would be thin a spot and cause it to leak out, but jus a thought........hope u find the leak before it causes a big issue

all lines are hooked up and no there isnt a coolant passage through the tb.

the car is hot when the coolant starts to leak but it didnt do it tonight. i think when im running it pretty hard it does it more. i checked the coolant lines that go to the intake manifold, i see no leakage there or from the gasket.

Do you have standard gaskets on both sides of the thermal gasket?

Best thing is to get it on a lift and follow the trail to the highest point if you can. Or just get it as high as you can on stands and use a really bright shop light.

As for that plastic tube under the car. I do beleive that is the drain tube for the duct work in the car for when condensation builds up due to the A/C. If fluid is coming from that I would have to assume that the heater core has developed a crack or something along that line.

If that is the case, its gonna suck getting that out. I can do the job for you. Since its such a pain in the neck Ill do it for a small fee.

EDIT: Just noticed you are in the 757 so n/m about the job.

well found the problem. had two lines mixed. one to the evap system and the other to the iacv. just need to get a new evap canister because mine is full of coolant haha.
