And of course the newest edition to my XJ

It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it should still serve it's purpose and I got it for a steal

This is how my baby looks now. Homebrew front bumper (still needs to be cleaned up and painted, as well as light tabs and d ring shackles welded on). Other mods are a 2" lift in front and 2.5 in rear. 31x10.50 Falken Wildpeak HTs, stock rims, Yakima Loadwarrior roof basket, some audio stuff, and a cb. Feel free to rag on the bumper, you can't beat the price I paid for it!
Dem welds tho PM me if you want it fixed and finished correctly without a shitload of $.

Haha, those welds look like a bag of dicks. I'm pretty sure I could do better and I suck.

I've literally never welded but I'm confident enough in my Youtube tutorial watching ability that I can assure my welds would be better.

I like the concept though I think

Well, my buddy did the whole thing for free, so I didn't really feel like I could say anything about the welds, haha. Plus, I'm grateful to have it, especially at the price. I do plan on fixing them and making them look better, just waiting for time and money to get it done. I have a few friends that can weld as well who have said they will help out. When I actually get the time I will post pics.

If you notice it's not even completely painted yet either, haha. It looks fairly dook right now, but I hit a deer about a month ago (perks of living in the country ) and it tore the fiberglass grill and header panel up. I'd rather not go through breaking all that shit again, so next one I hit shouldn't hurt it too bad. Plus, I like to take it off road every now and then so the added protection is nice.

It's supposed to loosely resemble the Warn front winch bumper for a Jeep XJ

but we changed the design a little bit.

As thin as that tubing looks like, it may not add a lot of significant protection... I mean, MAYBE against a deer, and likely against brush in the woods.. but I wouldn't expect a lot out of it. Never the less, it's better than nothing I suppose as far as protecting your grille and radiator.

It's inch and a quarter thick I believe. All I really want that particular part for is brush and deer protection, and as a mount for lights. I'm not really expecting a ton out of how much protection it gives, but it should give signification protection over the nothing that is there stock, plus I'm not gonna lie, I've liked the way brush guard/bull bars looked haha.

Tubing looks fine to me. Should hold up decent to impacts. Still connected to sheet metal frame

Dem welds could use some cleaning up.

Been a long time since posting... Anyone still around?

Samurai is still alive! getting ready to do quite a bit more, just gathering stuff up now for it. wanted to have it done before April... not looking like it though. It's been doing a lot like the pic here recently.

My F250 is running great, towing well and strong as ever! Took it out for some snow play the other day. Sadly, wasn't all that fun. Well, at least compared to the Samurai.
