Your right man port work would free up a lot of power but the cam helped out big time aswell it held the power all the way to 7500 Rpms stock cam usually choke out a lil past 7k and the eBay turbo was brand new but yes I thought of changing it for a precision or garret and going for 400hp! But you can't come close to building this car for $4500 even with the little body damage it has!
Not bashing just a gear head thinking about the setup.
Everyone does things different.
But at the end of the day its personal choice for the owner.
I had heard good and bad about those ebay turbos thats why I asked.
Mainly about the seals going bad & oil getting into the intake trac ect.
I picked up a DA shell a few summers ago and thats how the guys turbo went out.
Any how glws man a lot of time and $ went I to that and planning ect

Thanks man and the seals in the turbo are holding up good so far no smoke or oil in charge pipes or anything like that!
