Home made rear mount twin turbo

picked this up of another site, absolutely sick set-up. This is the first twin turbo rear mount system that I have seen on an older Non-PI motor SN95. Guy did all the work himself including oil system for the set up. Numbers aren't too crazy 405hp 427ftlbs , but those things spool up very quickly.Twin 57mm T3/T4 turbos. He think it'll run somewhere in the 12'sthe way it sits now.Another kinda cool thing is that since its a rear mount kit he can still run Long Tube headers.

    Heres a link to a video http://media.putfile.com/Home-built-...driving-around

ya i know, I had no idea you could still run LTs with a turbo setup but he explains it pretty well in the orignal thread.

I still don't see how that won't get ripped off from everyday driving. I mean, slightly lowered Mustangs with LT's scrape.

Re: Home made rear mount twin turbo

i dunno he says he hasn't had any real problems with scraping. Those turbos are tucked up where the stock mufflers use to be maybe that keeps them our of harms way. You cant really tell from the pics but i think the turbos might even sit up higher then the bottom of the LTs

Well from that one pic the turbo's and filters are hanging below the differential. The mufflers are much higher than that.

They must have perfect roads wherever he's from.

The fabrication is the only thing I'm impressed with. Not to mention, the car is fucking hideous.
