Three KA24s = one DOHC Inline 6 head
From an old thread on anthoer forum I forgot about,
Guy takes three KA24 heads, cuts them up, and assembled them into a single DOHC head for a Nissan L28 inline 6.
I remember when he started talking about this project back in 2005 or so, and in 2007 he got it put together.
And yes, it runs

Re: Three KA24s = one DOHC Inline 6 head
was this cheaper than any of the inline 6 motors that are already made? the fabrication looks like shit, or maybe he just didn't clean anything?

The car it was installed into was pretty ratted out.
The guy wanted to keep an L series inline 6 for some reason. If you want a DOHC head there are two options.
The ultra rare factory 2.0 DOHC which used a different block. Less than 500 of these Zs were made and only sold in Japan
Or the OS Giken head which is like $12,000

There are so many engineering problems involved in this that I would love to know how he solved them. . . although its a safe bet he probably just threw it together. . .
