I think its the A-pillars that are really throwing me. They look like they've been bent right above the roof skin and don't blend with the roof contour. The highlight on the roof in the first bare pic and the painted pic emphasize what I'm talking about.

Yeah, one strategy is to cut the front A pillars and bend the roof down/sloping the windshield back. I think that's what's going on as the slope in front of the b-pillar seems off. Properly done, chopped type-1s look soooo mean.

I told him in the thread, the work that went in was impressive as hell and Ghia's have always had a soft spot with me but every aesthetic panel they touched looks absolutely fucking terrible. Ghia's are a pain to fit large wheels but goddamn. Typically cutting the arch usually turns out pretty bad and those rear fenders are disgusting... not to knock the work done but they can look good.

This is one of the better examples i've seen. I wish I had better pictures.

Newest picture of my 535is thanks to Chris @ Primo Lifestyle. I just ordered a new set of wheels so it won't be sitting like this for long. I'm probably not going to bother messing with ride height any more until they show up.
