Re: 240sx rebuild/refresh thread
Nick, glad to see it's all coming together, it's starting to look like a bay again...hahaha
Yeah, After not having PS on my s13 couple I had, I will NEVER not have PS on any 240 I end up owning, Honda's aren't too bad in comparisson

OMGHAI2U!!
My new 300Z brakes came in yesterday. I picked them up for a steal and the guy I bought them from had already cleaned them up and painted them but they leaked some fluid during shipping and some of the paint had gotten eaten up so I figured I would strip/repaint them.
After pouring some acetone on the painted areas
And after hitting them with a wire wheel on an air drill
Since I have more VHT copper left over from the bay I'm doing the brakes in it too and sanding the letters back down so they'll be silver. I'll probably end up painting them this weekend or the beginning of next week.
I also went ahead and put on some 20mm project Kics spacers I replaced the 10mm Ichiba ones that were on there.
While I was working on the spacers my little bro attacked my driver side motor mount that the nut rounded off on with a little help from a sawzall and a drill.
Went ahead and threw the fenders on because Stephen (Wishihadasilvia) will be re rolling my fenders shortly prior to paint and also test fitted the hood to make sure the air box didnt hit it.
It did.
So with the help of a hole saw drill bit that was just a hair larger than the round threaded piece that protrudes out from the bottom of the box for mounting, we drilled out a piece of metal that allowed us to drop the box another inch or so and the hood shut just fine.
crappy picture of what I was talking about.
Upon putting on the top part of the bumper support and the headlights, it was clear the intercooler was up too high and was hitting the lights and top section of the bumper support. Thankfully the hole that is used to adjust the hood latch up or down is the same that the intercooler mounts in so I just pushed it down another inch or two and everything cleared.
How we left it last night. (The headlights are going to have clear lenses on them when this is finished instead of the yellow ones haha)

Re: 240sx rebuild/refresh thread
I'll have to see how its gonna work. if it doesn't work in it's current location ill just move it again haha. But like I said I think it may be alright just by looking at the pictures on the first page of when the KA was in it, the res. definitely isn't much higher if at all in its factory mounting location. ill have to look next time i go by there.

Re: 240sx rebuild/refresh thread
you should put that PS reservoir by the clutch MC. Works perfect there and it wont be sending fluid into your ARC filter
