Cars you'd like to see remade

Re: Cars you'd like to see remade
Why? an affordable RWD Impala/Monte carlo LT1 sounds like trash?(Import Lumina) A Magnetic Ride comfortable 4 seater with near 30 mpg sounds terrible? The fusion and new malibu are great competitors..

Would love to see a true remake of the supra. I don't know how I feel about the new ft-1, it's too expensive compared to what the supra was.
Also a redone plymouth superbird would be cool.

Mazda first needs to create the unobtainium apex seals that will allow for running a Wankel rotary at the temps and pressures necessary to get the full effeciencies out of the motor.

I still don't get why they never used that engine in the Miata. The Miata engine is nothing stellar, and never has been. I'm usually not the biggest rotary fan but it would have been a time and a half getting to drive a Miata with one.

I've been saying for years all Mazda had to do was a coupe body for the MX-5/Miata and swap in a rotary and they'd have their next RX-whatever on the cheap.
