The next meet will be held Saturday, July 2nd, 2005 from 7:30pm - 11:00pm. For all other info, please visit the website at www.megameet.org

Due to the number of vehicles that attended the last two meets, there are going to be a couple of changes made. Prince William County Police and VDOT are now requiring us to hire 2 officers, one for each entrance. Also some decisions had to be made about parking since we cannot move the meet to another lot until our permit expires at the end of this year. The organizers are asking for a $1 donation as you enter the parking lot. With this dollar donation, you will receive parking in the MEGA MEET lot and 1 raffle ticket. Please do not loose this raffle ticket if you want the chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors! However, if you decide not to make this donation, then you may park at the top of the hill in the open parking lot. You may not park at the gas station or the Hampton Inn because your vehicle will be towed! All vehicles that are trailered to the lot, must be in the lot and unloaded before 8:00pm. The truck and trailers are then allowed to park at the upper parking lot at the top of the hill.

Be on time if you want a good parking spot in the MEGA MEET lot!

These changes had to be made because we want to be able to keep the meet up and running for a long time. We thank everyone for their support and please come out and enjoy another great Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET July 2nd!

Good idea.

Do the organizers have a good plan for parking? I know people like to park with thier club or with cars of the same make. If so, it may not be a bad idea to put the parking plans online.

We will post the planned parking layout a few days before the event on our website. And we will try to get it posted on all the forums also. We are still planning to park cars by makes but if you have a mixed car club and would like to park together go to our web site and send us an email letting us know how many cars you will have. We will hold spots until 8pm so you might want to show up on time.

People please remeber, if you have a trailered show car you need to be there before 7pm to set up and park your trailer...

Bryan, also remember that if this is a show car that has to be trailored in, we do have specific parking for you up by the sponsor tents. Please contact us for further info on it and so that we can plan for you to come to this meet.

Update to the orignial post

We have had some questions about this, so I wanted to address it. When you give the dollar donation and receive the raffle ticket, keep in mind that this does not gaurantee you a parking spot if you leave the lot and come back later that night. We all know how big this meet is getting and that the lot fills up before 9:00pm. Also, please understand that this is a meet where you come in, park, and enjoy the wide variety of vehicles that come to these meets. There is no driving around the lot because this causes traffic problems and safety issues for everyone especially the younger car enthusiasts that come with their parents.

REVTECH Motorsports is also donating supplies to have a hot dog cook out at the meet. This is not an all you can eat buffet so please respect all the other people that are enjoying the meet along with you.

Thanks again for all the support that everyone is showing for these meets and lets have another great time the 2nd of July.

Everyone has a really good time at these meets. I think you will be really surprised with the number of people and vehicles that attend these meets and plus you know we all wanna see the beast you drive. If you do decide to come, make sure you are there by 7:30pm because the lot fills up quick.

is there a bike section? and how many bikers usually go?

There is not a section just for the bikes becuase they can park just about anywhere they find room. There are alot of bikes that come to these meets so you should check it also.

We have picked up The Speed Factor Performance Shop from Sterling VA as a new Sponsor. They do allot of turbo work and DSM but they can do it all. They will be there and will be giving away a few $50.00 gift cards to there shop and an hour of free labor in our raffle this month. They will also be there showing off some of the work.

I hope everyone has a great time tonight at the MEGA MEET. Please respect the amount of time and money that has gone into getting this meet up and running. I know we all like to show off our rides but reving, doing burnouts, racing through the parking lot and on the roads is not the best way to show your support. We want to keep these meets going for a long time and we need everyones help with that. Tonight is hopefully going to be the largest and most organized meet the Mid Atlantic area has ever seen. See ya there!

what a great time! First off thank you to Brian and the Mega Meet crew for putting on such a great event and allowing us the opportunity to be a part of it. I also want to thank all of the great folks that came to see us and say hello. I really look forward to getting to know more of you.

So there is the new intake also with the newly fixed head! I redynoed and got a bit more out of it. New track times to come.
