View Full Version : Diesel + vegetable oil = cheaper gas

I don’t know if this has been discussed on here but I happen to see on TV that you can run a mixture of vegetable oil and diesel for fuel on a diesel truck. I don’t know how long this has been going on but seemed interesting and I found a site that has everything you need to get started. What’s funny is you can go to restaurants to get your fuel, I think it cost a pretty penny to get all the equipment in order to clean the oil and connecting the system to your truck but it is something worth reading.

I honestly dont mind paying $5-$10 to fill a bike up and ride for a week, But for a 4X4 Thats one hell of a deal...lol

ya i think he says it evens out to about 70 cents a gallon if u make it urself
