Here we have the ultimate off-road machine, an Isuzu Rodeo 4x2. Haha. Actually, it did okay considering its grave disadvantage. Notice the tow strap.

Looks like you guys had fun. Two guys I know are the ones that got that geo back there. They flipped it a few times and flipped it back over. Me and a friend of mine laid frame on his 04 4x4 Dakota Quad Cab on that hill and got stuck.

Looks like you guys had goodtimes. I pulled up to work today and saw Jason's Rodeo and was like "WTF"

the ford weighed too much...

the toys and sammis had tons of flotation and just scooted right along.

i sware to god, all the full size trucks got stuck, and the toys/samurais did great.

mud will collect in places you never knew, it will sit there and cause things to rust.

you want to clean your truck like none other with a power washer after you play in the mud. if you get stuck in a puddle you will want to drain and change your diff fluids.

you could get mud in bearings and things like that, if you are pretty good with mechanical things i wouldnt worry about it, just a bearing or fluid change here or there.. but if you get stuck, get crud in your diff and let it go.. that will be a new ring and pinion fer ya.

just try to clean and clean after you play in the mud, personally im not a mud guy.. i love it, just not in my truck. i like rocks and trails.

i dont like going through deep shit. Im more of a trying to jump shit and go through semi deep puddles and stuff.

04-29-2005, 11:14 AM
