Hey guys I was just wondering where drag strips are around...I've never run my car and would like to. Are they still open this time of year? Are any still open after Thanksgiving? Are people going sometime? I know I'd have my ass handed to me esp with my lack of experience, but I want to! Thanks

I think Bristol is the closest 1/4. They are at a pretty high elevation though. I think it also might be slightly uphill. I kept rolling backwords in the stagging lane. If your from baltimore there's always MIR. MIR is nice.

Dinwiddee (VMP) in Richmond is about 30min further than bristol, but is a quicker track.

We usually head up to Natural Bridge once a month too...It's an 1/8mi track, but is still good practice.

All the tracks are closed cept Dinwiddie which is open till Nov 22nd.

They are open for 2 more Test and Tune nights on the 22nd & 29th. (Fri nights)
