It's almost time to buy new wheels for my car (http://community.webshots.com/album/59182759ztwmKx) and I'm sort of torn between a few choices. Keep in mind that the car will be Daytona blue (http://www.smithtownnissan.com/smithtown/extra/z-experience/photos/DaytonaBlue/03110059.jpg). (from the 350Z.)
Rota Slipstreams [16x7, 13.5lbs]

The second one if pretty sweet ... thats what you should get
if the thought of the first wheel ever lookin cool ever crossed through your mind slap your self very hard and very fast to make sure that leaves your mind

I do like the way the Slipstreams look. They are also pretty fucking light though, the main reason they're there. I really wanted 17" but anything above 16" is really just looks.

I'm really leaning toward the DTMs and Koseis.

Kosei K1s all the way. I do happen to like Rotas a LOT though...thats just the JDM in me showing through...hahaha.
My 510 will be wearing a set of Anthracite 15x7 Kosei K1s eventually wrapped in Kumho race rubber...:woowoo:

Im tellin' ya...Kosei K1s are the deal! They are only around $160-180ea and are quite light and durable. SSR's are ungodly expensive and so are Volks...but they are light! If you arent going to be racing it i wouldn't think a few pounds would matter to you much though.

I mean a fully dedicated car. If you were serious about racing you wouldnt be looking for 17"s you be looking for 15"s unless you have some huge brake kit that i missed??? If you want something to just look good just go for what you want. THATS what i meant.

I'm not going FULL OUT race but I am taking the car to VIR at least once with the IMOC (international mr2 owners club.)
Hopefully I can take a few courses and race there more. I want something nice looking yet still light and race-y.

I knew it....good choice, you wont be disapointed. They come in Anthracite. Pretty close to "gun metal" and you dont need pay to get them coated after paying for them first.

ALMOST decided on some that weren't in the list, Racing Hart C5 EVO's.
Where can you get them in Anthricite? Tire Rack only sells them in silver or white.
